Carolina Cool has teamed up with state and local agencies to generate interest in the trades for a new generation entering the work force. South Carolina has a need for more students to enter the contracting trades, but few opportunities exist for young people to gain experience and learn what a trades job can offer. By working with SC Works, Apprenticeship SC, contractor associations, and local public & charter schools, Carolina Cool has been able to attract young people to our industry. We will share details about our apprenticeship programs to help other businesses implement their own.
